In the early days and in the development of medicine within Khorasan culture, there was a belief that health arises from the unity and balance of the mind and body. Over time, medicine became a field of research and practice focused solely on the body. Although the sciences of psychology, psychiatry, and pedagogy have matured, the spiritual potential of human beings\u2014which, in the broadest sense, is open to infinite knowledge and infinite perception\u2014has been neglected. <\/p>

Especially in the 20th century, the medical profession recognized these shortcomings and took steps to address them.<\/p>

To provide an overview of all these efforts and historical developments and to evaluate this information in the context of today\u2019s conditions, the \u201cFrom Medicine to the Heart, From the Heart to Medicine\u2014Preparing for the Future Seminar\u201d has been held since 2005.<\/p>

Regenerative Medicine (from the Latin *regeneratio*: regeneration, self-renewal) is a new field within contemporary biological medicine. This new scientific field is based on the principle that various disorders and diseases can be cured through the regeneration (self-renewal) of cells, tissues, and organs whose functions have been impaired, and one of its key focuses is to activate the living body\u2019s inherent regeneration and repair processes. <\/p>

In light of this fundamental knowledge, the conscious utilization of a patient\u2019s own body\u2019s regenerative potential for therapeutic purposes is becoming increasingly relevant in the medical world. In this context, starting with the initial diagnostic consultation (anamnesis) with the patient, taking into account rhythmic cellular processes\u2014known as \u201cregulatory time processes\u201d\u2014is playing an increasingly significant role in treatment recommendations. A very broad perspective is emerging, ranging from new psychotherapy and modern cell biology to Central Asian pentatonic music\u2014of which Dr. Oru\u00e7 G\u00fcven\u00e7 is a leading exponent\u2014as well as the use of ancient Oriental and Sufi music in treatment. <\/p>
